A New Bible Study Tool

Throughout my Christian life, I’ve seen many ministers and believers distort biblical teaching on the church by picking a few verses to support their view, while ignoring other verses that contradict it.

New Testament leadership contains many paradoxes.   Leaders are to be humble servants, yet they also have responsibility to lead, command certain things and act as guardians for the flock.  Christians are told to obey their leaders, yet are applauded for studying the scriptures for themselves and have Paul himself as an example of someone who confronted a key leader about an error.   We must study ALL scriptures related to a given topic and people involved in the situation or we will err in both action and doctrine.

. . .if I delay, you may know how one ought to behave in the household of God, which is the church of the living God, a pillar and buttress of the truth.

I Timothy 3:15
